From a Dream to Google Play: The Journey of Publishing Amaro Than
Amaro Than Team · Nov 21, 2025
The journey to publishing Amaro Than on the Google Play Store did not begin with perfect code, flawless systems, or unlimited resources. It began with a vision — a simple but powerful idea: to build the first digital home for Roma communities worldwide.
What followed was months of challenges, breakthroughs, frustrations, late nights, and a kind of determination that only comes from believing in a mission bigger than yourself.
The First Lines of Code
Amaro Than started with a blank screen and a question:
“Can we actually build this for our people?”
With no guide, no blueprint, and no existing Roma digital platform to learn from, everything had to be created from scratch. Every feature — from Netvorko to Amalipe+ to AINARA — started as an idea sketched on paper and slowly evolved into real working systems.
Facing the First Problems
Nothing worked perfectly in the beginning.
WebSockets crashed.
Firebase refused to initialize.
Servers overloaded.
Builds failed.
Android Studio showed errors we had never seen before.
Each day brought something new to fix.
Each fix brought a new bug.
But every time a problem tried to stop us, we pushed back harder.
Debugging at 2 AM
There were nights when the code wouldn’t compile…
when the keystore wouldn’t generate…
when the app couldn’t connect…
when an update broke everything we had just fixed.
We rebuilt.
We cleaned.
We re-installed.
We started from the beginning when needed.
And we kept going, because every line of code meant progress for our community.
The Keystore Battle
One of the toughest moments came near the end — generating the signing key for Android.
Mac issues, Java errors, wrong paths, broken commands… everything that could fail, failed.
But eventually, after hours of trial and error, the keystore was created.
That was the moment we realized:
“We’re really doing this.”
The Final Challenge: Google Play
Uploading the app was another journey of its own.
Advertising ID errors…
Photo permissions…
Country rollout issues…
Version conflicts…
Missing manifest entries…
Review warnings…
Every time we solved one problem, Play Console gave us two more.
But we kept fighting through each error until the dashboard finally showed:
“Ready to send for review.”
The Longest Wait
When we pressed the button to submit our first-ever Roma app to Google Play, the silence felt heavy.
All the work, all the hours, all the passion — now in Google’s hands.
Minutes felt like hours.
Hours felt like days.
And then, it happened.
Approval Day
The notification came in:
“Congratulations, your app is now available on Google Play.”
It didn’t feel real at first.
But it was.
Amaro Than — the first Roma-built social, dating, and AI platform — was officially live for the world to download.
The moment that changed everything
This wasn’t just an app approval.
It was history.
A milestone for the Roma community.
A message that said:
“We belong in the digital future. We can build. We can innovate.”
What Comes Next
Publishing to Google Play was not the end — it was the beginning.
Now the journey continues with updates, features, improvements, and the upcoming launch on iOS.
But we will never forget the road that brought us here.
From struggle to success.
From dream to Play Store.
From zero to history.
Amaro Than is live — and this is only the beginning.
